Brighton
I've been in Brighton for a gig tonight. What a fucking great, student party wrapped up in a massive gay pink ribbon of a town. Plus craft ales.
The main event on the lawn was
" the ladyboys of Bancock"
I was there for a serious jazz concert but the vibe was fucking greentastic.
My new favourite town in the world.

That's lovely dear. Why don't we move down there and open an antiques shop? We can wear our glasses on a chain.

Re: Brighton
I live about 8 miles from Brighton and I haven't been into Town for about 10 years.

Full of beggars, immigrants and students.

Run by the Green Party so cars are banned and it's a fucking shit hole that could do with being blown up and turned into a huge car park.

That post is everything I love about this site. 'I went to see that Taj Mahal. Fucking stinks and full of ethnics. Cunts at the hotel tried to give me curry for breakfast. They should pull the shithole down and build a fucking great car-park'.

I think it's splendid that some of you are so utterly determined to go through life without enjoying a moment of it.

I love living in Brighton. It's pretty different to everywhere else, and the Greens haven't quite been able to ruin it, but now they don't have control anymore they won't have any more chance.

Re: Brighton
I never thought I'd see the day the Taj Mahal would be compared to Brighton!

Brighton is a shit hole, I prefer Tunbridge Wells.

My brother lives about 20 minutes away, last went there approx 20 years ago, but enjoyed it. Weather was good some nice architecture window shopping in the lanes lunch in an Italian was excellent and went on the beach in the afternoon, the pebble beach is the only thing that lets it down.

Sister lives in Poole prefer that stretch of sandy coast and Bournemouth although Brighton is easier to commute.

Alwaysiron, Dorset is a lovely part of the world and Devon of course, don't think anyone would argue with that.

Re: Brighton
If any of you are interested in camera technology here's what the latest Sony compact can do. Shot on Brighton beach virtually in the dark.

You might have to give this a bit of a think next time you fancy a late-night quicky on the beach- particularly as I've just bought one. It's fucking mad to be able to shoot in the dark.

Re: Brighton
It's pretty mad Bullet, isn't it? I feel a bit of nonce-cam coming on!

I've been shooting a bit of street video with it in Camden and because it's so small (it's mirror less but full frame) nobody takes a blind bit of notice. Do that with my Canon DSLR and people get all upitty about it and suspicious. 'Oi, what are you filming me for' and all kinds of shit. I've been known to say 'nothing pal, I'm just working for the DHSS'...

I was filming a while ago and some dirty drug dealer hoodrat stood next to me bogging me out while I pretended I didn't see him. He said in his most menacing jafakan 'who you filming man'? I put my best menacing cockney accent on and said 'whatever the fuck I want'. 2 minutes later he fucked off.

Having lived in both Bournemouth and Brighton for at least a decade each, I feel I'm qualified to say that Bournemouth is full of more cunts than Brighton is. Yes Bournemouth has a nice beach, but all their pubs and clubs are shit in comparison.

Re: Brighton
Brighton is like a mini-London. Full of pubs and entertainment for the younger residents made up of youffs, students, immigrants, gays and singles.

I've been quite a lot as my son manages a pub quite close to Brighton Station. He's doing quite well there too...

Re: Brighton
I like Brighton, apart from parking being a joke and the one way /bus lane system having actually increased congestion.
